Daily Prompt: Just some calculated gain!

This just in: let’s pretend that science has proven that karma is a thing. Your words and actions will influence what happens to you in the future. How (if at all) will you change your ways?

If what they say is true,

Karma is standing over there,

Taking notes of what you do.

How awesome would it be,

To have everything good coming back to you

How terrible would it be,

To have everything that went bad,

Staring straight at you!

Would you be transactional then?

So that it doesn’t come back to bite again?

Would you then really believe,

that magic happens, and that people are nice?

Would you be happy then?

No more surprises, just some calculated gain!

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: Karma Chameleon and Abide.
